Shanghai Trip 2008

7th Day
Shannon's thoughts:Finally we're going back to Singapore.We had our breakfast,lunch, did our last check, teachers checking our luggage weight and we're are ready to go! We sat the plane for about 5 hours and finally, we're back in Singapore. I got a big teddy bear as a present coming back to Singapore. home sweet home...

Betty's thought's: I miss Home yah! I thought that it will be cool to be away from home and mother's nagging , but Iwas wrong I miss my mom's nagging . I also miss Singapore and I hope that I would get back earlier. When I reached the airport, I was greeted with warm smiles . My parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really it is a home sweet home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6th Day
Shannon's thoughts:Today is fun although my legs hurt. We went to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.(a very long name) We went to a super huge building to see small building.There, we saw the whole of Shanghai.we went to Nan Jing Lu too. Other than that, we also went to Cheng Huang Miao. In there, we visited the Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden is big and beautiful. As it is the last day here in Shanghai, the teachers allowed us to sleep after midnight. That's all I have to type for today.

Betty's thought's: Okay, just one more day and we will go home. Home sweet home...... I went to alot of places the best part is the one when I went to Yu Yuan Garden and Nan Jing Lu. I saw alot of things and I learn alot of China's History and Culture . I also know more about how a rich person's garden architecture and house looked like.

5th Day
Shannon's thoughts:Yawn... Today is surely a very long day. I woke up at 5a.m. and went to bed at about 10.30a.m. . We went to a place called 'Super Brand Mall'. It was surely huge.We had a budget of 30 dollars to buy our dinner. I ate a fish burger meal plus a pie. Burp... Then, (most girls favourite), shopping! Mr Ng bought a clock like thing for her daughter. We also went to the tallest building in Shanghai and and a musuem. In the musuem, we sat in a digestive system like thing and it is very fun.

Betty's thoughts: Very fun. We went to the Study Shanghai City Planing by acending in morning.. I am very tired. I learned alot of science things. I also went to the Oriental pearl tower . Scary ! I went to the ''Super brand mall'' and i was given a budget of $ 30 to buy dinner . After that , we did shopping, a girls thing. I saw ''Toys R Us'' and I told Mr Ng about it . I like shopping.

4th Day
Shannon's thought:Today we went to Shanghai Aerospace Centre. We also went to Shanghai Space and Technology Museum. It is SUPER big. The things there are rather expensive. They have alot of antiques there. It was very fun looking at the things on display. Well, we walk till my legs are painful.That's all I can think of...

Betty's thoughts:Nice day , but very tiring . Also it was quite interesting . I saw alot rockets and space things. It is a never forgotten experience. I feel so lucky . At the Space and technology , I saw alot of things... At evening, we ate steamboat ! The teacher said that it is a very speacial one. yummy!

3rd Day
Shannon's thoughts:Today is the last day at Jin Xin Xiao Xue.Becase of that, we sang three songs which is ' Where I Belong' and ' Singapore town' . CHIJ girls sang, introduce their school and also tell the china people more about Singapore. Jin Xin Xiao Xue also performed gu zheng, cheerleaders, dance and yang qing. Their performance is very nice. We also launch the rockets which we make during the first day when we go to Jin Xin Xiao Xue. Mine flew very well until it drop onto a tree. Me and Shadzee also launch water rocket. NO ONE TOLD ME WATER WOULD SQUIRT OUT!!! I pulled the handle like thing and water squirt all over me. Even my spectacles was wet.

Betty's thoughts:It was quite fun today, the China friends perform us some CCA that they have in their school . Its quite cool . The best part was the one that get launch our ownself made rockets . Some of school friends get make some water rockets Shannon one of the chosen pupils, we get to launch our water rockets too . There were four person chosen to make these water rockets , two boys and two girls . I know that China's school is much different than ours in Singapore. :)

2nd Day
Betty's thoughts : Today , my friends and I went to Jin Xin Xiao Xue . I didn't know that their school will be so big , it is like a very big trian station. The pupils there were quite ''active'' . When it lesson time , I went to a class teaching art and the topic was ''symmetrical figures''. I only learning that when I was Primary 4. The pupils there were also very friendly and lend me their own paintbrushes . Some of our China friends showed us around . When it was lunch time , they served us some not nice food . I really miss my mom's cooking!

Shannon's thoughts:Today, we went to Jin Xin Xiao Xue. Their school is SUPER big. Their primary school is like Singapore's Sec school. The pupils there are very friendly. We were divided into groups and me and Betty went to Art class. The pupils did not hesitate to lent us paint brushes. the lesson is about how to paint symmetrical figures. I enjoyed the art lesson alot. After the art lesson, we had our lunch. To say the truth, i don't like the food they serve. After lunch, we learnt how to make rockets. We also saw three rockets launch. That is all for the day.

1st Day
Shannon's thoughts:It was early in the morning when my alarm clock rang. I was so excited that I wasted no time and got ready for the day I have been waiting for so long, the trip to Shanghai.Soon I was on the way to Changi Airport. There was already peaple there although I thought I was rather early. After awhile, Betty came.(My roomate)

Betty's thoughts:I am so excited ! The day had finally come! The trip to China - Shanghai. :) I woke up at 5:00a.m.!But when I reached the Airport,there were a lot of pupils and their parents.Note: I never been in a plane.Then we got into our group which is Delta group which consist of 11 peaple including Mr Ng. here are the names:
